Not having enough with soap operas, my grandma is now crazy about webisodes!

The word webisode is a short episode which airs initially as internet television, it is downloaded opposed to first airing on broadcast or cable television.
The word formation process is compounding, because it results from the combination of "web" and "episode."
Etymology: in 1995 the word was first created with the first internet serialization called "The Spot" by Scott Zakarin. In 2009 the word webisode is included in the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary.

  1. Hi Carolina, i want to congratulate you for you presentation today. I know how hard it is to stand in front of a class, and present something, and you did a great job. The facts, about kids with imaginative friends are amazing, they actually impacted the way in which i see my sister now. I don't believe my sister is special anymore lol.

  3. Hi Carolina,
You did a great job on your presentation. However, I disagree with your point that the great psychologists John Piaget and Sigmund Frued are wrong while saying childrens are egocentric. Although children are innocents, they do not know what they are doing or talking about, these psychologists are right that the children of the age between 3 to 7 (aprox) are egocentric. This does not mean that they are selfish but they do not have ablity to understand that different people have different thoughts and understanding about things.
